Neck

The neck soothIR™ was our first iteration and most familiar model. It is partially flexible accomodating many different neck sizes. The cord and dimmer are designed so that our battery can be put in a pocket or it can be plugged into any USB power port. It has 12 infrared LEDs at the peak of a photochemical low-level light benefit curve. These LEDs are distributed around the back of the neck in a single line.

Lower Back

The Lower Back soothIR™ is our flagship model. With 36 LEDs distributed over 3 lines, it treats the entire lower back at once! It takes about 1.25 A, so we are only offering this unit with a battery that is capable of delivering the increased power. It comes with a unique wave shape that lets the center fit snugly into your lower back while the outer part gently envelops the sides. It comes with an adjustable belt that allows you to wear the unit while you move around with the battery in your hand or pocket. Not only will this device make a sore lower back feel better, but it can also be worn on a cold day for extra core warmth.

Knee/Universal

Our knee/universal patch has a smooth curve bent into it to adapt to the many surfaces of the body. It has 18 LEDs distributed across 2 lines. It is more flexible than our other soothIR™ devices to bend over the top/bottom of the knee or be strapped on either side of the knee cap. It works with almost all USB sources. Each knee/universal soothIR™ comes with 2 elastic/velcro straps. The short 40cm strap can hold the soothIR™ on the arm, elbow or lower leg while the longer strap can be wrapped around the knee to hold the device in any of 4 positions around the knee cap on either knee or on the thigh.

Wrist

The newest soothIR™ we’ve developed is for the wrist. 12 LEDs are distributed into two lines of 6. Like the Neck soothIR™, it can be plugged into any USB source. The elliptical shape covers 1/2 the circumference of the wrist and it is semi-rigid, but can be expanded to suit large wrists or squeezed together and held with a strip of velcro (included).

Muscle

With 36 LEDs, our muscle soothIR™ is a powerful solution for a wide variety of muscle groups. Common application areas include the quads, hamstrings, and even biceps! Specifically designed with the athletic and weightlifting communities in mind, this device can be used for both pre and post exercise routines, as well as during injury recovery.

Battery Unit

Take advantage of the full portability of your soothIR™ devices with our premium 10000mAH USB battery pack. This convenient battery is super thin, measuring around about 3/8” and has the outer dimensions of a modern smart phone. It easily slides in a pocket, allowing you to move around freely while using the device. At full power, the lower back unit can run for 5 hours, the neck and wrist soothIRs™ can run for 11 hours, and the knee/universal soothIR™ can run for 8 hours. This allows multiple treatments from a single charge, and the versatile battery can even charge other electronic devices if necessary. Please Note: Battery Unit is included in the Lower Back package; Battery is optional for other soothIR™ devices.

Our Story

For years, Ed Sinofsky, Ph.D. watched as his wife suffered from chronic neck pain. After witnessing her try many different techniques recommended by doctors without success, he decided to apply his background in Infrared and LED technology to invent a device that applies light deep beneath the surface of the skin to help alleviate the effects of inflammation in joints and muscles. After seeing the positive benefits his wife experienced (including an increase in range of motion) Ed has decided to offer it to everyone in an attempt to “Soothe the World”.
